Ian's love of music
Music is a massive part of Ian’s life. If he’s not performing at social clubs or at church, he’s doing shows at the Royal Albert Hall!
Ian lives in a self-contained flat in Medway, but needs help to do most things. But that doesn’t hold him back. He plays every instrument you can imagine, from the tambourine and recorder to the organ and ukulele. He loves music! You can see on his face how much he loves it and enjoys performing in public.
“Ian is 71 and goes out a lot,” says Tracy one of his supporters. He is involved in a few social clubs – one organised by the Salvation Army. We provide 24 hours’ support, 7 days a week and he needs to use a hoist for mobility. It’s a joy to be around him.”
You can see on his face how much he loves it and enjoys performing in public.
