Wunmi - A truly people-focused job
Wunmi has only worked for Choice Support for a few months and is doing well, thanks to the support from her team.
“The staff are great. They give me advice so that I can be better and more effective in my role. There’s a lot to remember and it can be challenging, but it can be really fun. The tenants that we support like to go out a lot – hydrotherapy, shopping and going out for meals.”
A passion for supporting people runs in Wunmi’s family. “My Mum suggested I come and work for Choice Support. She works in the house next door. It wasn’t something I had really considered for a career. I did Bio-medical science at university, but I wanted to do a more people-focused job.”
Wumi works in a supported living home in Stockport, that supports adults with learning disabilities.
