Jenny - a job that's so rewarding
Jenny has been working at one of our mental health services for more than 10 years.
She says “I have a degree in psychology and this really helped me when I first started working here. It’s certainly helped me to put my theory into practice.”
The best part of my role is to see people progressing with their independence. Jenny, assistant team leader
Jenny is an assistant team leader, but still remains hands-on. “I do a fair few shifts, and that’s important. I can’t help to manage the services when I don’t understand the needs of people we’re supporting.”
Jenny helps to oversee two mental health services in Essex and is a firm believer in team work. “It can be a difficult job at times. So I expect the staff to help each other out and learn from each other.”
