Because We All Care, focus on care for autistic people and people with learning disabilities
Care Quality Commission (CQC) needs your help to understand the quality of care for autistic people and people with a learning disability.
Choice Support are working with Care Quality Commission (CQC) on their annual campaign, ‘Because We All Care’, which highlights the importance of giving feedback on health and adult social care services.
It also encourages people who use, or support others who use, health and social care services to share their experiences.
From mid-April 2023, the campaign will focus on care for autistic people and people with learning disabilities.
CQC values feedback to inform their decisions as to whether they need to look more closely at a service or to take action. Feedback also helps services identify and address any quality issues.
You can get involved by sharing information about the campaign and the CQC online Give Feedback on Care form with your networks and via social media. Individuals can also give feedback via the phone or for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing there is a service called SignLive. Details can be found on the CQC website.
