The Public Engagement Network invites autistic people and people with learning disabilities to join our Advisory Group
About the Advisory Group
The Public Engagement Network's Advisory Group enables autistic people and people with learning disabilities to come together to share their experiences and opinions of health and social care.
A wide range of topics are discussed at Advisory Group meetings, including accessibility, receiving care, and giving feedback on health and care services.
Information and insights gathered from the Advisory Group are then fed to the Care Quality Commission.
The Advisory Group was launched in February 2023 and holds meetings on a quarterly basis. However, these could become more frequent as the group develops.
Individuals who attend Advisory Group meetings are paid for their involvement with high street shopping vouchers.
