London Pride 2025
We proudly joined London Pride again this year. See all the best pics from the parade below and hear from a staff member who was there.
Chair of the Choice Support LGBTQ+ Allies network, John Hammond, was at the event, walking with staff, people we support and our friends at Certitude.
“This year’s Parade was spectacular, with rainbow flags waving and music echoing off historic landmarks. The atmosphere felt electric, an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
“Marching through the capital, we felt the joy and solidarity as people cheered us on and celebrated each step of progress made towards LGBTQ+ rights.
Why we march
“But, beyond the glitter and celebration, Pride remains deeply rooted in its purpose. This year served as a poignant reminder that our fight for equality and justice is far from over. Powerful messages throughout the day highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by the trans community, whose rights and safety are increasingly under threat across the globe.
“We were also reminded of the struggles faced by LGBTQ+ refugees seeking sanctuary in the UK. People fleeing oppression simply for being themselves, only to face further hurdles and prejudice. We remember the reality that being gay or trans remains criminalised in 65 countries.”
Choice Support stands with the LGBTQ+ community in joy and in hope. We are proud to lend our voices, our feet, and our hearts to this ongoing movement.
See you next year.
