Digital Lifeline – a project to connect people

We are pleased to be partnering with the Digital Lifeline project to improve access to technology for people with learning disabilities.
Digital Lifeline is a project led by the Good Things Foundation, in partnership with AbilityNet, both organisations dedicated to improving access to digital technology. Choice Support is proud to become their delivery partner. Together, we are seeking to reduce digital exclusion for people with learning disabilities. For people who do not have a suitable device to access the internet and do not have the means to afford one. Digital Lifeline is tackling these issues by providing tablets, an internet connection and support for people to learn digital skills.
Our Innovation and Technology team will be setting up and delivering devices to 30 people supported by Choice Support from the end of March. We will also be providing access to training and ongoing support, to help people get the most out of their new device. We are very grateful to Good Things Foundation and AbilityNet for this opportunity, which has been funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and supported by Voluntary Organisations Disability Group (VODG), Digital United and Learning Disability England.
