About the role:
We have 2 properties in Worksop with Support Worker vacancies.
We’re looking for compassionate Support Workers with the ability to encourage people to look after themselves so they can live their lives to the fullest.
No two days will be the same supporting people to achieve their very best. We aim to create a positive, relaxed home environment where the people we support feel safe, supported & listened to. You will be supported and guided by senior staff members to establish appropriate boundaries, manage behaviour effectively and nurture the people we support towards positive futures.
Daily duties include: high level of personal care, moving and assisting including use of a hoist and rotunda for transfers, personal care including bathing, showering, toileting and mouthcare. Domestic duties include cooking, cleaning, shopping and laundry. You will be required to keep records of finances and administration of medication therefore good communication, written and IT skills are a must.
Hours:
Full/Part time and casual hours available.
Both services run 24 hours, 7 days a week – waking night shifts, dayshifts (earlies and lates) and sleep in shifts where applicable.
Shift patterns are usually:
07.00am – 21.00pm
08.00am – 21.00pm
21.00pm – 07.00am waking night
22.00pm – 07.00am waking night
Location:
The properties are located in Worksop, Nottingham. Free parking is available and easy access via public transport from local areas.
