Support Worker

About the role:
Could you support someone to live more independently and do the things they enjoy? We are looking for hard-working and caring people to join our team, to help people be part of their local community and live happily in their own homes.
The focus of this role is to help the people we support to develop independent living skills: improve their personal hygiene, assist with meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities and socialising – the daily routine of regular life. Daily duties include: high level of personal care, moving and assisting including use of a hoist and rotunda for transfers

Hours:
We have a part time position available working 20 hours per week, as well as casual hours available. This is a 24 hour service and the shift patterns are usually as follows:
07.00 – 21.00
08.00 – 21.00
21.00 – 07.00 waking night 1
22.00 – 07.00 waking night 2
Location:
This service is situated 8 minute drive from Worksop town centre or a 6 minute walk from Worksop train station. Providing easy access, via bus or train and also has free off street parking.
This service is around an hours journey from Nottingham city centre therefore, would not be suitable if you do not drive.

We’re not looking for any kind of specific experience. It is your personality and values that will make you a good fit for the role and our organisation. We will train and develop you to become a great support worker with continued support from colleagues.
