Support Worker
We are seeking a night support worker to join our team for a new service opening in London.
About the role:
Would you like to be part of an exciting new service supporting one gentleman with a learning disability and epilepsy? We are seeking a bank Support Worker to provide cover for sickness and absence. The role involves 1:1 support during the day and overnight, ensuring consistent and person-centred care. No fixed hours, flexible working to cover holidays, sickness, training etc. You will be joining an established and dedicated team of support staff. Experience supporting people with PBS needs is desirable. The day shift involves supporting Lee to access the community, as he enjoys visiting museums and travelling by train or bus.
During the evening, he requires support with preparing his evening meal and enjoys spending time listening to music, singing, and watching his favourite TV series and films.
Hours:
Shifts may include day shifts (10:00am–5:00pm), evening shifts (5:00pm–10:00pm), and sleep-in shifts with support (10:00pm–10:00am), or a combination of these.
This is a bank contract, intended to provide flexible cover to support the service as and when staff availability is required.
Location:
The service is located in Plumstead, London. Free parking is available on site.
