Support Worker- Mental Health
We are looking for support workers to join our mental health team in Maidstone dedicated to supporting people to live their lives, have fun and feel good.
About the role:
We are seeking a full time support worker to provide care and support at one of our Mental Health services in Maidstone.
For this role you will be supporting nine individuals, all living within their own flats.
As a mental health support worker, you will be required to offer appropriate physical and emotional support and advice to encourage independence and self-esteem. You will also liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the well-being and safety of the individuals. You will be working within a well-established and experienced team providing continuous training and career development opportunities.
Hours:
Full time - 39 hours per week.
Location:
Maidstone (ME16) and are located close to Maidstone town and hospital. With free parking onsite and close links to bus services and train services.
About you:
Ideally, but not essential, you will have experience of working in a mental health setting. You will be provided with a paid full induction and ongoing training throughout your employment with Choice Support.
You must be enthusiastic, empathetic, reliable, resilient, and willing to support adults with diagnosed mental health and a forensic history.
