Bank Support Worker
About the Role
We’re looking for friendly and reliable Bank Support Workers to join our services in Merton, Mitcham and Belmont. In this role, you will support people with their daily routines, help them build independence, and create a positive and comfortable environment. Every day is different, and you will be part of a team that values care, respect, and learning.
People we support have a range of interests, including listening to music, sensory activities, community outings, gym, visiting parks or cafés, arts and crafts, and attending organised activities such as discos, hydrotherapy and trampoline sessions. Staff encourage participation in activities that promote wellbeing, independence, and social inclusion and engagement.
You will be required to complete all mandatory training and the Care Certificate. Both are fully paid, and you will be supported every step of the way.
Hours
Bank work gives you real flexibility. You can choose shifts that fit around your life, whether that’s family commitments, studies or other work. In our Merton and Mitcham services, we offer early shifts from 08:00 to 15:00, late shifts from 13:00 to 20:00, and paid sleep-ins. In out Belmont service shifts 08:00 – 15:00, 15:00 – 21:00. Long day 08:00– 21:00 and waking night 21:00 - 08:00.
Location
You will be working across our services in Merton, Mitcham & Belmont. There is free parking on-site, and all locations are close to public transport, making travel easy. Our teams are friendly, supportive, and ready to welcome you.
About You
You don’t need previous experience. What matters most is a caring attitude, patience, and a willingness to learn. You should be reliable, happy working with others, and interested in supporting people to live well and achieve their goals.
