Raising the bar – PMLD conference

Raising the bar - a national conference to ensure equity of support and service provision.

This national conference on 24th November in Manchester launches new Core Service Standards for educational, health and social care providers.

These Standards aim to enhance the life experiences of both children and adults with profound and multiple learning disabilites (PMLD) and ensure equity of support and service provision.

It will be run as a not for profit conference by joint organisers Thomas Doukas  ̶  Choice Support, Michael Fullerton  ̶  Care Management Group, Annie Fergusson  ̶  The University of Northampton and PMLD Link & family carer, and Joanna Grace  ̶  The Sensory Projects.

The conference will be of interest to those supporting children and adults with PMLD, including family carers, commissioners, service providers and health/social care/education professionals.

Delegates will receive a copy of the Standards with a forward written by Norman Lamb MP.
