Head of Technical Services
The Head of Technical Services will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to continue to deliver a high-quality repairs and maintenance service as well as ensuring our properties are accessible and meet future changing needs.
The Head of Technical Services will also be responsible for leading the organisation in its management of landlord H&S and all related activities to ensure the people we support and use our services are safe. The role will also form part of the businesses overall H&S management structure ensuring standards are consistent across all our owned and managed properties.
The post holder will also work closely with our operational teams to meet the demands of our asset management strategy to ensure the decisions we take as an organisation about its stock in the short and long term are sustainable.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent in building surveying
- Evidence of successfully managing property at a senior level and of influencing property related budgets.
- Understanding of all relevant legislation and government initiatives which impact on buildings standards in the social care field
This post is based in our head office in Maidstone Kent, however, we operate a hot desk and home working policy and you may be required to work in any location where the company provides its services therefore a driving license is preferred or the ability to travel.
