Leanne and David

Leanne and David have been together for two years.

Leanne and David have been together for two years. They met when Leanne moved into her flat, in a block with other flats and shared support provided by Choice Support.

"Our support staff help us by making sure our support time is planned so we have our time alone together. They know us, so they know when something is wrong and can talk to us."

"We think the good things staff can do to help people to have relationships are:

  • helping us to spend time together
  • give us advice when we ask for it or when they know something is wrong."

"The most unhelpful thing staff could do for people in relationships is to stop people from seeing each other."
