Minibus for Ken Boyce Centre
We're raising money to buy a new minibus to take people to activities in the community.
At the Ken Boyce Centre in Footscray, we run activities for adults with autism and learning disabilities in Footscray near Sidcup.
Although some of our activities take place at the centre, like computer skills, gardening and massage, we also go out to community facilities. We go rambling, swimming, hydrotherapy, cycling and bowling. We also play in the South London Special League in a team called Bexley Lions, and when the weather is good, we go fishing.
A minibus helps us to do as many activities we can, where venues are not easy to get to by public transport. The image at the top of this page is for our Carlton Centre, where we received funding from the Dennis Wise & Frankham Group Charitable Trust to buy a 17-seater minibus.
