Volunteering

Volunteering for Choice Support is a powerful way of making a difference to other people’s lives, and it also has many benefits for you too.

Who can volunteer?
Volunteering is open to everyone over the age of 18 years.

What can I do?
We are looking for volunteers for a variety of activities, sometimes with an individual as a community buddy or in a group setting.

“I volunteer in our local open doors which provides recreational activities for people with disabilities. On average I volunteer approximately four hours per week but it is very flexible and I can change the amount of work depending on other commitments. My volunteering has become a big part of my life. As well as the chance to support a worthwhile cause and in turn help those in need it gives me the chance to meet the local community and provide a friendly face to the organisation.”
