The Mongolia Rally

The Mongolia Rally is a fundraising race starting at Goodwood racetrack, England, and finishing at Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Held annually since 2004, to date it has raised nearly £2 million for charity. Choice Support is proud to be sponsoring David Johnson and Danny Craine to take part in this year’s rally. David and Danny will be raising money for two charities, Lotus Children's Centre Charitable Trust, a local charity for disabled children in Mongolia, and Choice Support.

The Mongolia Rally isn't about comfort and it doesn't have a great deal to do with style. The whole point is that it's difficult. David and Danny can take any route they like. But as they’ll be covering more than 10,000 miles over a third of the world’s surface, they won't be able to avoid mountains, deserts and some of the most remote terrain on the planet. And they have to make the journey in a car with an engine of no more than 1.2 litres, registered on or after 1 January 2003, costing no more than £1,000.
